If they are RDS files, they'll have an extension like RD3 or RD4. I don't know of any programme other than RDS which will open Raydream Studio files. Raydream is fun (I've just got the programme about 1 week ago and am still learning). It works quite differently to MAX, and produces excellent organic shapes as well as very good "raditional" 3D objects. You might like to ask this question again in the Raydream/Carrera Forum to get a little more in depth reply. If you know anyone who has RDS, they can convert the files to OBJ or 3DS format for you. If all else fails, drop me a line Paul
Elmo? Umm. I'm pretty sure you're downloading my RD models. I'm the only one wacky enough to make these kinds of models ;-). I usually post two versions of each model. One is .RDS format. And the other one is .OBJ format. The .OBJ files will open in poser. But be warned. That elmo has furrific applied to him. So that .OBJ file is very very large. ScottA www.pixelatious.com

I've downloaded some figures like Elmo and Marvin the Martian. But I can't import them in Poser. I think they are Ray Dream Studio-Files, but I don't have that program. Is it worth to buy, by the way. I do have MAX. I hope anyone can help me.
