looks great!

Aldaron ( ) posted Mon, 17 March 2003 at 11:23 PM

Need a bit more cheese on those pizzas. :) Nice job!

treemont ( ) posted Mon, 17 March 2003 at 11:35 PM

Glad you liked it guys! (I'll be brining out some beer later :))

I know... I've eaten better looking pizzas, but they didn't have much choice in Free Stuff ;)

There is much more lighting and texture adjustments in this one though...

Quest ( ) posted Mon, 17 March 2003 at 11:56 PM

Looks very good treemont but yeah, I too like more cheese on my pizza. Maybe you can fiddle with the texture a bit. Nice job all around!

Looking good. :-) Uh oh... I can see I'm going to have to bring my own pizza. Pepperoni... Ehwww! lol Now... if you just had some speakers either side of the TV and an amplifier. ;-) Can't enjoy that movie without some good, deep base.

bikermouse ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 3:09 AM

Are those anchovies? Beck's goes good with anchovies! Or Guiness - but I don't know how to spell that.

Doublecrash ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 3:43 AM

Way good, treemont! The last pizza texture is really rockin'! I also appreciate the light on the sofa, it seems realistic. Good job, I can't wait to see the final! Just an afterthought: have you considered the idea of boolean-slicing out a slice of pizza? It would add to the "we just pushed the pause button" feeling...

cambert ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 6:08 AM

Mmmmmm...pizza....

Rayraz ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 6:52 AM

It could be the jpeg-compression or the rendersetting, but it looks like there's ants crawling over your pizza in message 9. The best way to make a pizza would be to make a photo of a real one and make a displacement map for use in the terrain editor. The lighting is nice. Maybe a bit stronger fall-off from spot creating the light from the TV. I hope I don't sound too critical.

wow, i like all your feedback on the pizza and the rest!

so i figured i'll rather post the premium render here and i'll take all the reasonable :) requests, for the final pic which i'll post in my gallery later then.(this one is not finished, the render was killing me :), you can see the line above the ducky + the window is not straight and the small pizza is not fixed)

so far we need: beer, more pizza, speakers... what else would you like :o)
and i will rent another movie, i'm sure you'll like it!

Rayraz good idea on terrain editor
DC, there will be a slice for you :)
DW, you're right, that would be nice :)

lsstrout ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 11:58 AM

Great party! Plates or napkins? Or do you not mind bits dropped on the floor? ;) Can I hold ducky during the scary parts? Lin

DreamWarrior ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 12:25 PM

Oh, I can't eat with just my hands. I can't stand having my hands dirty :-). I prefer plates. And it would be nice to have pillows for the floor, so we can all be comfy!

Just an observation but the sofa looks a bit small, maybe make it bigger. It looks like someone's knees would be in thier face if they sat down. :)

treemont ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 12:54 PM

Cool, I guess there will be a new sofa, pillows, some utensils and yeah, i'll have to correct the scale :)

Roch222 ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 6:35 PM

Yeah I agree about the couch scale - Are you sorry you invited us over!!!!!! Love your scene - its very Fun roch222

catlin_mc ( ) posted Tue, 18 March 2003 at 7:18 PM

Is that a seafood pizza, if so I'll have a large slice please. Looking really good treemont and since everyone has mentioned the couch I can't add anything. Apart from:- Let the party begin, oh and can we have some whiskey. I must support Scotlands major industry. 8P Cat
