can someone please tell me why my toonimal cat has grey eyes when I export my obj wavefront files into Bryce

Plain grey eyes all over? Probably becourse you didn't make the right material transperant. I think it's the cornea part of the eye that has to be like glass in Bryce.

Ahhhhhh, so thats why sometimes when I download something from the free stuff here at renderosity that certain parts of the object(hair,lashes,eyes) will have their transparencies already maxed out in the render>materials window? Right? or not? I know one thing about poser to bryce, use grouper. Thanks agent.

well yes and no. Those parts you mention there has transparency at max becourse they are using a transmap. As far as I remember transmaps needs to be inverted before they can be used in Bryce. But I seem to remember that Brydce can invert them by itself. It's been some time since I've last used Bryce :o)
