Working on this texture to be used with the grim or mike v2 model... this is just the "head" texture so far : ) what do you think ?

It's a good start. But it is far too symmetrical at this stage. also IMO a bit too white, but that MAY be this monitor. Looking foreward to see the body :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Ok all i can suggest is creat a good human skin then amageon a way the person died and show that in the texture then picture in your head and think how the body would have changed the skin would get pale and blueish the damaged areas and cartlage areas would go forst and the rot would spread from there the joints tend to bulge due to rigormortus the eyes would be rotted and shallow the teath would be in terrable condition and lets not forget and dammage and durt that would happen from breaking out of the coffen and slawing its way to the surface can ya tell i am a giant horrer movie buff my friends discribe me as a horrer movie guru lol I hope that this helps you some just rember when the movie ppl do special effects they first research the info then simulate what they have learned by useing the tricks they know and makeing all new tricks anything that will make the viewer think it is real but in real life it loks far mor fake lol good luck and please keep us updated on your progress and dont forget the puss mold and peeling skin lol

If I can give any hints from what I learned in creating my "Rawn Zombie" texture at DAZ, I would say... In creating any good texture, it is important that you start with a good base, and then build on there. For any human (or once human) characters, you will still need to start from that primarily human look. Meaning you will need a basic skin tone to build on top of. Then you can adjust the saturation to grey out the colours to achienve whatever level of "death look" you are looking for. Then you can work on building up colours again to give the overall appearance you are looking for. Once you have this, then you can build on whatever extras appeal to you in the way of wounds, wrinkles, blotches and other things. You have a nice start here...keep us posted as to how it goes.
