I see that Computer Arts magazine (UK) will be giving away Vicki 1 on its next issue cover disc and also that 3D World Magazine is also giving this, plus poser 3 on its 20th March issue so if you've ever wanted to give Poser a go, you know what to do!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great offer! You should be aware that upgrade prices from Curious Labs might not be applicable for free magazine copies of Poser... But hey, it's free, so why complain ;-)

Does anyone has a faint idea wether Computer Arts issued in the other countries (Poland, for that matter or Germany) will be doing the same thing in the future?

Ariah - if you're talking about an import of the UK edition, rather than a localised version, the applicability of the freebies and upgrades varies. I should think there'd be a fair chance that you'd be able to get the serial number for any freebies (but no guarantee - some have had restrictions) but upgrade offers are mostly limited to the EU or even the UK. I think the Victoria is the LoRes version anyway.

If i recall i started out with a full fledge tried true vrs. with legit serial number from Mac Format a UK mag. and that is what convinced me to go to Poser 4 . so yeah they will are have that is given the whole kit and kaboodle.

There is a free download on a German website: http://www.prosieben.de/wissen/galileo/poser_02/ But there are two limitations: In order to understand how to download, you need to understand a little German. It is hard to find good stuff for Poser 3.
