Hi everyone, It's been a while since I posted, I had to deal with some family issues of my grandfather passing away a few months ago. But some good news to over come the sad. Here's a picture of basically what I look like... Oh I thought hell there should be goths here on renderosity, SHOUT if ur one ;D! I just had my birthday not to long ago and my mom baught me Poser 5, sooo with my new weapon of mass goodies is on the way. From Clothing aside, I wanted to work on Hair for V 1-3, mill kids, and mike 1-2, with a dark and more dead look. Of course there will be others besides gothic hair styles. This was my first render with Poser 5, as well my new hair i'll be producing into the market place with 70 or more colors with shimmering hi-lights and tones. From Punk to every day. Please let me know what u think... thanks Selket.

oh yes I almost forgot... I used the JoAnne Texture "modified" from Dalinise and Props from Blackhearted, and the cateye glasses from the freebies section of renderosity. Thanks everyone.

Great style, I love the lipcolor. Very sorry to hear about your loss, art can be a real release during hard times in my experience... and it sounds like you have lots of new tools to explore in Poser 5.

I'd love to see more goth style in the Marketplace, especially for Mike. He's getting to be a pansy in all those crewneck sweaters. ;)

The hair looks good to me, I think it would definitely be a versatile product to use alone or in combination with another style. Can never have too many colors!

Molly

thanks rasputina :) Here's another view, I picked the colors from manic panic color chart. :) Let me know what you think Selket

Syyd ( ) posted Sat, 22 March 2003 at 8:58 AM

Oh wow, manic panic has great colors! The Fuschia color would rock it as well. Good luck, its nice to see you back and creating. And, Goths abound everywhere!

rasputina ( ) posted Sat, 22 March 2003 at 10:05 AM

ooh yeah manic panic, I have run their spectrum ;0 their stuff rocks bells. I really like the fringe, that would be amazing textured in the style of leopard and streaks, like you can find @http://www.drlocks.net/bangs.htm etc.....

AristaProductionLab ( ) posted Sat, 22 March 2003 at 10:47 AM

Hmm? WOW!! She looks great!! This is an excelent model! I would imagine that you would probably have her in the store before long? There is just one thing that I see that crosses up "my" geometries? the front view of her hair?"looks a little rough" This is a tough one to explain. But, I hope to have some info about this indepth at my homepage in the report books section. I don't guess you could introduce us??? I would like to see her on the town! Great work!

Strixowl ( ) posted Sat, 22 March 2003 at 12:11 PM

Goth here!! Always looking for hard to find Goth products for V3 etc.

Selket ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 1:11 AM

hi everyone, actually the texture i used was from Dalinise's JoAnne Texture. I Joanne has no make-up so i added some in Adobe Photoshop 7.2. I love to do different types of make-ups, that stuff is fun... PSsttt Dalinise I hope you don't mind honey... that i modified it. Sadly I wish i had a digital camra or someone to even take pictures so i could create textures... Strixowl Hey that's me ur talking about LOL! it's a pic of myself lol... PS. I'll try the tiger stripes and etc... or even zebra. thanks everyone... hugs and kisses and peace to all. :D Selket.

Selket ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 1:19 AM

ohhh ohh i almost forgot, actually i need ur help. IS there any other hair color sites like manic panic? Some awesome wild colors so i can get some ideas? thanks guys....

Fashionably_Late ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 2:36 AM

Villagestreetwear.com sells a couple hair dye brands besides Manic Panic, and there are some pictures. Also check out the colored wigs there, they've got lots of bright colors.

This one too, if you click on the colors most have pictures of actual people with the haircolor, so there's some good inspirational style.

Also, for most things costume related, including hair dye... Costumes.org has tons of links to look through in categories. Have fun. :)

Love the cotton candy pink......that color really does me.

Selket ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 11:28 AM

me too, I just finished dying my hair Cotton Candy Color LOL! :D

Syyd ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 11:46 AM

when you change colors, do you strip your hair each time, or does Manic Panic cover solidly?

Selket ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 12:52 PM

I strip my hair with proxide, and the color lasts for a few weeks, u can use some shampoos to remove the pervious color "not the proxide". then i can switch the color... you can mix differnt colors to get the comination that is right. there's about 36 shades. selket

rasputina ( ) posted Sun, 23 March 2003 at 9:45 PM

cotton candy pink is my all time favorite next to deadly nightshade! was just thinking about stripping my hair to go to cotton candy again. :) my favorite of your images so far has to be the blue texture, the pink those is really flash which is always cool.
