Since Hawkfyr asked, thought I's post one of my pics so far. I'm a member of the Emperor's Hammer (an online Star Wars club) so I started out with a Star Wars pic for my club. The Imperial Gunboat (from the game TIE Fighter) was downloaded as a mesh from the Star Wars 3D Modelling Alliance. All rendering and textures were done in Bryce 3D. The foreground could use a little breaking up, but I'm pretty pleased by the "painted" effect I got with the weird cloud colors and haze. I'm still working my way through the tutorial, I hope to have other stuff to show you in the future.

Hey this is fine , nice distance efftect, this would make a nice flythrough animation, havin the camera track the gunboat.diving through canyons and soaring around mountains. Great start. Keep em coming (OT)any luck with the rainbows? Hawkfyr

Thanks! Haven't tried the rainbows yet, but I'll have time later in the week to give 'em a shot. I'm looking forward to doing some animations in the future.....gotta finish learning to walk before I run, though... :)
