*) I am crap with math so the 33 years may very well be wrong...

LOL, wow. Not only did I not know you spent so much time here Phil, I've always thought you lived in England. ;) In the past, I also used to wonder if you were the Phil C that's on Poser's splash screen (Poser 3 UI: Phil Clevenger) too, LOL. Glad you're still with us no matter where you live or what you do though. :) SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

Wow and i thought I was bad . 33 years online LoL

PhilC ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 9:28 AM

I'm an English man living in Kentucky. .... long story. I seem to remember that women were involved somewhere, either running away from or running after.... probably both :)

Now although it's true that I've been around for a while I know I'm not the oldest member here. So who amongst us holds that honor? I'll start the bidding at a youthful 48.

tasquah ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 9:48 AM

The bids still yours, your older than me .

tonymouse ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 10:15 AM

You got me beat too at 34 ;) Some days I feel quite a bit older (two and 1/2 jobs and all, not to mention Art time and home up keep) but that is as high as I can bid so I guess I'll just hve to fold. Too rich for my blood. ;)

SAMS3D ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 10:24 AM

I can get close 47 but Mike has got you 55.....Sharen

Sambucus ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 10:26 AM

Ill see your 48 and raise you eleven years, Phil, but thats really only an average coz my minds about 14 and the body`s feeling about 80 at the moment. Only been a member here about 2 years, though.

queri ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 11:18 AM

This is not Poker it's a horse race-- I'm betting on myself for Place at 58. Don't think my odds are all that goood, but why not take a chance. Emily

Patricia ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 11:20 AM

chohole ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 1:13 PM

I'm only 51. And Jim, There are few people of any age that can fit clothing like you!

melanie ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 7:52 PM

Turning 53 this Saturday, but I sure don't feel that old. I think I stopped aging (at least mentally) around 12 or so. LOL Melanie

Ericroy ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 8:25 PM

I guess I won't win at 54. Uh, 54 and a half. :) Ericroy

ockham ( ) posted Tue, 25 March 2003 at 10:04 PM

53, echoing Melanie. I grew up once, but then grew back down. Somewhere around 12 now. I'm not surprised by the entries in this list; I had already spotted most of these folks as well over 30. What's the test? Literacy. Scan this entire thread and see if you can find a (non-deliberate) misspelling or grammatical error. Maybe one or two at most....

I can just see us all now gathered at the local legion drinking beer, but instead of those great tails of victorious deeds upon the battle field, it will go more or less like this (please excuse the old geezer voice) "Remember Vern, how Poser was in the great old days...when you had to cut up the body parts and Victoria III was the 3D gal to have...not like this new fangled Damn Daz Studio v.8...with one bloody button - its all done for you..."

elgyfu ( ) posted Wed, 26 March 2003 at 12:40 AM

Blimey - and I read an article the other day that online forums were full of silly teenagers! I now feel extremely young at 35! Thank you all :) :)

Migal ( ) posted Wed, 26 March 2003 at 2:29 AM

YES! I'm young! I'm young! My children are wrong! I'm not an old man! Great thread! Gawd, this feels good. I'm thirty-seven! YES!!! And everything still works! Without medication! Wahoo!!! My wife is lucky! I have to go tell her!

Sheesh! I can't even be an ol' fogey in this crowd. :( Only 52. However, like Ockham suggests, I AM proud to be part of the literate generation. Despite dyslexia and migraines, I still care about how my words appear on a screen, I remember how to diagram sentences, and I occasionally write a worthwhile sentence. Carolly

I feel much better reading this thread, I'm a mere 34 yrs young :) I'm still a kid & always will be :))

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Wed, 26 March 2003 at 5:52 AM

Yeah, I'm feeling young too at 37 :o) This thread is getting really interesting :o) elgyfu, I think this is one of the things that makes Renderosity such a great place: That this is more than just "silly teenagers". Of course ther are lots of forums online with teenagers too, I've watched some of the places where my 12 year old daughter "hangs out" and sheeesh....NOT a place I would want to stay :o) But to each his/her own. She finds Renderosity rather boring. No little avatars or anything. Personally I find the lack of avatars here refreshing. These days most places are php clones. Nothing wrong with php powered forums, but they look so alike :o/

I am probably one of the oldest on Renderosity, having passed my three score years and ten but I still learn something new every day. Poser, Cinema4D etc help to keep me young.

Yaaay for westryde. I`m young again.

Nice to find out that so many of us are in the same sort of age range. I'll be 47 in three weeks. Catching up on Fishnose. :o). It kinda explains why sudden rashes of intelligent conversation occasionally break out on the forums huh?

I'm 48, and figured that the majority here was much younger! But it makes sense if you think about it. Our generation had to use our imaginations more because we had less visual input.

I know one member who's 51 and another who's in his 60s. I won't mention names. I'm nowhere in the running for oldest. I know one or two members younger than me, but I'm pretty near the bottom of the stack, at least according to this thread. And, if you go by mental or emotional maturity, I'm definitely at the bottom. ;-)

ziggie ( ) posted Wed, 26 March 2003 at 10:16 PM

I feel like an 18 year old... but where do you find one at this time of the morning...? I am the same age as the hair on my head and several months younger than my teeth.
