i know it man. Word to the wise, if you do any printing, try and do it (if you can) from a vector program like Freehand or Illustrator. I've always found photoshop to0 be extremely wonky when it comes to printing. Within freehand or illustrator, once I set the document size and the printing size from the printer preferences, I've never had a problem. I'm sure there's a method to photoshop's madness, but he ain't talking about it anytime soon.
What I do is build print templates. I make a solid white document, the size I want the image to print. Then I increase the DPI to 300. This of course increases the file size. But when you increase the DPI you also get a box to enter the size you want the image to print at. I have templates of all the sizes I use, and just build my images on those.
Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

I have been using photoshop for about four years, 5,6 and now 7. One thing that really anoys me is that when I set the canvas size to 11 x 14 (as example- size doesn't matter), and I try to print onto 11 x 14 on my epson 1280 printer, it always clips off the image, forsing me to change the canvas size to get it all to print. I am printing without borders. If I print with borders they are not even. Anyone know what I am talking about?
