I am trying to import a building I am making in Canoma into Bryce as an obj file. I have a problem as the box shape of the model is being imported on the skew. I have attached a picture of this If you notice - the wireframe is enclosed with another wireframe which shows the problem. It means I cannot alter the shape of the box without it skewing. Hope people know what I mean - it's difficult to explain. Peter

Ungroup, rotate it then regroup.

It's very tricky to use if you try to do complex projects. I try to keep things simple put a box in, then apply the texture, save it - and export it to Bryce to construct the building. I find the wireframes go crazy if you try to do too much - adding other primitives and glueing them - I spent alot of time trying to work it out, but decided that keep it simple is the best way. Now my problems are solved with the skewing of the imported model - I should be able to build with out the problems I was having. There is a website dedicated to Canoma at http://www.canoma.com/ Peter

There's a little gizzmo on the Bryce workplace.... Select your object, hit the top button on the selection menu..the one that gives you all your positions and sizes and look for a little triangle to the right of the menu. A drop-down lets you select 'Remove Sheer'.....that should do it for you....... Sorry I'm a bit vague but I don't have Bryce running at the moment and my brain suffers from ram failure....! I just tried your advice - it works! I tried Ungroup, rotate then regroup. but I didn't realise at first when I rotate, it leaves some of the model behind which I had to reassemble. Thanks very much - Bryce certainly has alot of tricks. Peter

ok then rotate, ungroup then re-group :) That should work too. Then the bounding box will be oriented to world coordinates so you shouldn't get any shearing.
