Subject: v3 headmorhp problems

mythicnexus ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 2:14 PM · edited Mon, 27 January 2025 at 2:46 AM

When I apply this v3 morph on v3, i get a error saying that it can't find the file frown.pz2. This character requires the body and head morph pak and i have both. Is the head pak suppose to come with expressions? Or is my file corrupted?

How big is the head morph file?

Are you injecting the morphs using the INJ poses? You can't use them until you do that.

I have Morgana too. Hold on, I'll check.

here is a screenshot. I was suprised because on the DAZ3d website, expressions are not mentioned in the product page

It works fine for me, on a fully loaded V3, that is, V3 with all the morph injections. I think you have to load them in first.

I just read the Readme file. It appears you have to set the body morphs first, which will load all the required morph injections. That makes me think you will need both morph packs from DAZ if you don't already have them.

i have both head and body for v3 and in the morgana readme, she says to just load v3 and click on the pose. But dose the headmorhp suppose to come with expressions?

SamTherapy ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 4:45 PM

No, I don't think so - but it needs the DAZ head morphs in order to work. Maybe an email to SteffyZZ would be in order.

Have you moved the morph pose files from their default positions in the library? If so, the pose can't find them to load them.

mythicnexus ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 9:27 PM

no i did not move anything. I just installed the head morphs and it can't find the expressions

gryffnn ( ) posted Wed, 02 April 2003 at 5:31 AM

If you go straight to the frown.pz2 in the "!V3 Expressions INJ" pose library, is it there and can you apply it directly to V3 and use it? If so, then there's something wrong with the character injector file, maybe with the path to the frown pose.

mythicnexus ( ) posted Wed, 02 April 2003 at 12:53 PM

but the v3 head pak does not come with expressions.

gryffnn ( ) posted Wed, 02 April 2003 at 2:07 PM

The expressions come with the basic Victoria 3. Don't you have: Runtime/libraries/Pose/!V3 Expressions INJ pose folder from your original Victoria 3 installation?

mythicnexus ( ) posted Wed, 02 April 2003 at 3:12 PM

how stupid of me. I must have accidentally deleted the folder when i was cleaning up the poser library. I just reinstalled v3 and morgana works fine. Sorry about this
