Subject: How do you make boobs obey the law of gravity in poser?

darthbobvilla ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 3:24 PM · edited Wed, 27 November 2024 at 7:12 AM

i know it sounds silly but whenyou pose a caracter and she is voluptuous by logic they should go down with gravity. Is there a natural way for poser to do it without using morphs? or when you squish them together how do you manage it to looks natural? I know it is out of the loop but i wann do pin up girls and i need them to look realistic as much as possible. any recipe welcome. thanks

Poser implants are produced with a high level of helium so breasts stay perky. I have seen that various models have a "natural" morph or a "droop" morph. What model are you trying to manipulate?

heyas; personally, i'd use bones. er, i mean, 'control handles.' basically two simple props added into the cr2 as body parts that are children of the chest (or each collar, depending on your model), and have joints set up to affect the breasts. if you set them up properly, you can use the 'point at' and a gravity prop to do semi-automatic gravity. you can also pose them by hand, of course.

If you have Victoria, trial and error might be your brest, sorry, best bet. There are "lay down" and "natural" morphs which help a lot. You're so right about graviy...too many Poser artists appear to be placing their ladies in zero-g, myself included sometimes. What helped me with this was studying other peoples' morph dial settings to see how they achieved realistic effects Some are quite complex, but yield real-looking bosoms. With practice you'll "get it." Pin up girls and the subject of realistic breasts "out of the loop?" Oh, no. I don't think so. :-)

use "natural" morph. also, set the "pinup" fbm's to negative value until you get what you are looking for. earlier, tonight, i was looking at my own boobs in the mirror...guess what....another thing they do is point to the right and left...so a twist, or bend might be in order. hey...you other ladies, out there....do your nipples line up front and center? well, that could be a "yes" if you are wearing a miracle bra. but, how would they point if you were nekkid in a temple...a fairy....fighting with a sword? i know it is probably some defeciency with my own boobs. anyone else have this problem?

If not gravity, how about centrifugal force? ;-)

Try the Gravity prop in free stuff, creates gravity in Poser, by Les Bentley. I have it installed but I've never tried it out. "gravity" in the free stuff search box works. Alex

"Silicon breasts, like silicone breasts don't obey the laws of gravity!!" groan Well I thought it was funny!! Hey that chick up there is gonna get some serious friction burns if somebody doesn't stop that soon!!

If you're using V2 r V3 just use Droop, Natural and Liedown dials in a suitable combination. You can get as much gravitational realism as you could ever need with the built-in dials, no problem. Or add a couple of magnets. :] Fish

IIRC, Jaager has a version of "Millie" with breasts which will droop to the sides, too (useful for those lying on one elbow while reading in bed poses).

Jim, She looks a bit bored, but "boy howdy", what a talent! tower: "you're cleared for take-off"

Well, I asked Vicky herself, and she said gravity is way overrated.
