Hi all,

I am looking for a certain type of gown or robe. I have not found anything like this in the MarketPlace or the Free Stuff sections, I have also searched through DAZ.

I am attaching some pictures of what I am looking for. Hopefully they come through.

Poser World has a lot of ancient Grecian and Roman type togas, tunics, etc. They're in the subscription area. If you don't have a subscription, it's one of the best deals around. Their inventory has some of the best of the web items.

So this Poser World web site, do I have to pay to even search there site to see if it would be worth my money, to see what they have, to see if I'm interested?

Nope, you don't have to pay to search PoserWorld. They have a lot of preview pages to look through.

Then I must be blind. I'm not finding the link. I see the free area link at the top, but I only get a preview of the free file for the week. What am I missing.

Renegade572 ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 6:04 PM

Cowboy, I get a 404 Page not found error

Renegade572 ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 6:07 PM

Never mind, I found the link to the preview area. Thx

Renegade572 ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 6:20 PM

On Poser World, do you have to pay for the models after paying for the subscription?

queri ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 6:33 PM

No you don't have to pay anything after paying fore the sub. Emily

Ed Baumgarten's are good, but you need to know that they're from way back in Poser 3 and they're not poseable or conformable. They're just static props. Melanie

...and the link doesn't work. Anyone have a link that works?

MachineClaw ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 8:12 PM

dodger has a toga for Mike, though it's not like the pics it could be made to be floor lengh with couple of magnets. here is a link to it. http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=17251 Brycetech has a tunic similar but it's for Vicki 3. http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=17410

Machine, Thank you for the info. I have seen these and have debated on these. Hoping to find something a little closer first. But, thank you.

Renegade572 ( ) posted Tue, 01 April 2003 at 8:48 PM

Interesting, if I click on the baument link from here, I get a 404 error. If I cut and paste the link, it loads fine. Weird.

The link is missing a / that's why it isn't working. What model are you looking for to use the robe? Poserworld has some robes, and DAZ is releasing a dress this week that could be used as a robe, especially if you use the sash from the Grecian robes at DAZ.

Take a peek at PhilC's monk robe for Mike. It has the basic t-shape of a western-stule tunic (worn for centuries by both sexes), but has the hood attached. You can probably make the hood invisible and the belt cords longer. I have it, but don't have time to mess with it right now. With a sash over the shoulder, it ought to be close enough to your pictures. The picture is the textured view. Carolly
