Now that you mention it, I don't recall Snoopy trying his paw at poetry. I could very well be wrong. I still love his novel. For those who haven't had the pleasure, here is an excerpt: It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out! A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly, a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! Now that is epic writing!
Where did I hear the old line, "Suddenly three shots rang out. Bang! Bang, bang, bang!" I think that may have been Snoopy too. jon

I have always loved Snoopy as the world famous author, and yesterday's Sunday paper had him hard at work at his typewriter, composing "The Cabin. A short story." When Linus says he doesn't understand how Snoopy could have stopped writing on his novel to work on a short story, the ever pragmatic beagle says: "I only have one sheet of paper!" I miss Charles Schultz.
