Subject: Exporting problems

Is it just I or is this a usual problem? Why cant I export multiple objects to the 3DS-format? For examlpe: Say I have a Poser4 woman with hair. If I export these as one file and import them in 3D Studio MAX R3 the program tells me that the file format is improper. 2: If I have a Poser4 woman with dress and boots. When I export these, the result will be that the womans pose is intact and one of the boots but not the other and dont even mention the dress. Do you have to work with Bryce or Carrara to make this work or am I doing something wrong before I make the export? Live well. /Jacko

Export to OBJ format instead and make sure everything you want to be exported is checked in the hierarchy. There are Wavefront OBJ plugins available for MAX from Habeware (SP?). -JH.

And make sure you get the right HABware plugin for the version of MAX. There is a link to the site in free stuff Paul
