Well essentially we're planning to 'copy' Cluedo in the idea of the game, but the look of the game will be different. My idea is that the game has a board anyway, which will be the overhead plan of the house. Then, as people enter each room their 'status' or 'info' screen will show the look of the room they've entered, really just to give atmosphere. The images will probably, when thinking about it, be less than 640x480, but as that's the max screen res it'd be best to do it like that and then we can resample. Anyway, I'm rambling...so bascially both an overhead and a first person would be idea, although the overhead view might be drawn with lines and so forth depending how we can sort it out. I am going for a modern architecture rather the classical cluedo style of the English manor. I am just finishing a rough draft of 'The Lounge'. which I have attached for your perusal on the message above this one. I don't have the shortlist of rooms we need, but definietly a Kitchen.
Cluedo? Is that the same as Clue?
Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Hi there I am working on an idea with a friend to produce a freeware Cluedo style game for the EPOC range of computers. Basically I am in charge of some presentation graphics, most notably for the common rooms used in cluedo. We expect to change the names and replace some to avoid copyright infringement, the game will be slightly different. Anyway, indoor scenes are tricky at best and I wondered if any fellow Vue fanatics were interested in lending a hand. The game is totally free, so no cash for anybody, but full credit for work will be given in the help files/readmes whatever. Images would be 640x480 at 256 colours. A 10 frame pan/zoom animation might be required, but we're not sure if we need it yet. Anybody fancy helping out, drop me a mail jarm@netcomuk.co.uk I am going to give a crack at doing some myself, but I didn't know if anybody just fancied a project when the inspiration was low. Many Thanks Jody
