Subject: Wasps nest

My mother in law turn up with this nest, just before taking to a local school. I had 10 min to photograph it, so not the best shots window light from the right, reflector on the left, blue card as a background Equipment: Canon EOS 5, 28mm-105mm lens, tripod, cable release and mirror lock-up Film: Sensia 100

Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

This shot is the top of the nest (in the top shot the nest is upside down). this is where it was cut down from. I wish I had more time with this nest

hey, unusual subject. just watched the movie "the ring" and #2 reminds me of that. i also like the textural feel of #3.

These are really wikked. :-D I love the third one the most. Although it's not exactly like it, the pic reminds me of James and the Giant Peach (with Lane Smith's illustrations). (*

yes, 3 has an infinate beauty to it- pretty interesting show & tell! :) (@ star- i use to luv that book- in fact, i still have it)
