Subject: moving poser to other hard drive

Can some one give me the steps to move poser to my second hard drive? I would just like to drag and drop or copy from drive C to drive H.

Then just drag 'n drop it :-)... poser (at least poser 4) doesn't write any files to your windows directories. All you should have to do is make a new shortcut once you get it situated on the new HD

Mine made a INI file on the root of "c" drive that told the computer were poser is at. You can chane it with a text editor if you want.

I just did what cooler did. Dragged and dropped to my D drive which was (at the time) larger than my C drive. Now it's the other way around. My C drive got eaten by a virus so I had to get another drive and it's huge. But I still maintain my Poser 4 and 5 on my second drive. As cooler said, you just have to make a new shortcut to the new location. Haven't had any problems with it's new location, and I hand install any zips or files I buy from DAZ so that's not a problem for me either. Liz Pope Dreamspinner
