Subject: Textures from jpg

Is it possible to use a jpg file as a texture. I am assuming so, since many of my downloads include jpg files with no directory stucture to the textures directory.

How do I apply a jpg file as a texture in P5?

No, I haven't tried looking around yet. It's late and my brain doesn't want to work anymore.:O)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx

yes you can use jpg's especially if you have pro pack or P5. Go to the toolbar "render" and "materials" and in P4, select the figure and the part of the figure you want then load the jpg.

It's a little more com0plicated than that but still pretty easy once you are used to it. Here's a tutorial that got through my thick skull. Goes through all the nodes and stuff in P5.
