Subject: Feeling stupid but - what is Python?

Apart from Monty Python, I don't know any Pythons. :) And I've seen that mentioned a couple of times. What is it?

Hehe. This is an ex-parrot. :) Python is a scripting language, used by Poser (and others) to run certain functions and processes. Think "Word Macro" and you get the basic idea.

python is not only a scripting language but also an object orriented cross platform programming language used to make full scale applications such as the Zope web server and Blender3D www.python.org is the place to go to find more info
