Well, I've decided I'm going to try to make my own textures, and I'm seeing alot of textures out there (like those by ByteMeOk, Arduino, Eowyn, and others) and a VAST majorty of these are very realistic. My question is where do you go to get all of the various pictures of the body? The ideal answer is you take them yourself, but do you hit up your friends for them? (Mine wouldn't take kindly to "Hey, can I take a few nekkid pics of you for a project I'm working on?") I don't know about you all, but my ducking reflexes have diminished over the years... I have done searches over the net for skin, but there's so many shades it's hopeless to combine them to make one person. Would someone like to give up some of their secrets? Also, what is it that everyone is using to make the MAT/MOR packages??

Anton has a tutorial for adding skin texture (pores, lines, wrinkles, etc) without compomising the color of the skin - read it here: http://arcana.daz3d.com/tutorial.php?id=2

To make the greyscale (see tutorial) layers i usually use add noise, or texturize layer using a bumpy surface, such as canvas or sandtone

Good luck!
