What was his name ? I can't remember it... Wasn't it Imothep or something ?

RawArt ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 4:49 PM

I believe I have fooled you here, since my previous posts showed the mummy wrapping textures I was working on as an expansion to the Rawn-Zombie character.....but they are already complete...this is a new man, wrapped in tattered wrappings as torn and shredded as his own torn psyche. Perhaps you may not know who he is as of yet...but what he is shall soon be revealed. Rawnrr

DARKMAN

DrunkMonkey ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 4:56 PM

Frankenstein's monster?

JoeyAristophanes ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 5:26 PM

The DC comic character... Scarecrow? Strawman? Something like that.

LordsWarrior ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 6:29 PM

Potatoe sack man!

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 6:49 PM

Frankenstein's creation really needs a proper name. We shouldn't go around calling him "Frankenstein's monster" all the time. It's cruel, politically incorrect, and dehumanizing, and as I understand it, he's mostly made of human bits.

From now on, let's call him Bob.

MachineClaw ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 6:55 PM

ah someone beat me to it. I think it's potato sack man. Invisble man, darkman, waffle cone man? Leatherface?

RawArt ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 7:14 PM

Some cool guesses here :) This will be a first in a set of new characters, inspired by a short story I wrote a while ago, with a twist to the "Wizard of Oz" theme. This will be a scarecrow character in a series I will call the "Wizard of RawZ" series Rawnrr

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 8:08 PM

A darker version of Baum's Oz? Cool. I wrote a fantasy tale like that once, where (among other changes) the scarecrow was replaced by a reanimated corpse. American McGee is doing his own spin on the series with a new computer game next year. Waiting patiently to see your take on the tin woodsman and lion.

lelionx ( ) posted Sun, 13 April 2003 at 9:42 PM

"dark man"

RawArt ( ) posted Mon, 14 April 2003 at 6:06 AM

Thanx everyone No worries igohigh...the mummy wrappings shall hit the market before the week is out :) (as for this guys brains...the irony is that in the story, this fellow becomes a foil to show the ignorance of the world around him) As far as the tin man goes...well...if you are thinking robot....you are way off lol

boulder ( ) posted Mon, 14 April 2003 at 6:38 AM

Adman?

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 14 April 2003 at 6:49 AM

As far as the tin man goes...well...if you are thinking robot....you are way off lol Mine was an ancient steam-powered bronze automaton left behind to guard an Aegyptian temple's inner sanctum.

Your story sounds fascinating Little Dragon. My writting usually tends toward more dark psychological drama/horror...and as such the characters I am working on have an element of human psyche gone awry. Adman? never heard of that one Boulder :)
