You can use those dots, but it's MUCH better in the long run to set up proper Pose files with names. Just get into the Pose library and hit the + sign at bottom, then select the parts you want to affect. This will give you a recorded pose that you can name, and an image you can see. The dots are anonymous; you have to keep in mind that the northeast dot represents sitting at a chair and the 2nd dot from the bottom represents standing on one foot, or whatever. My memory isn't good enough to store that much info when a better option is available.

Memory dots are useful when you develop a pose. You can progressively save dots as you get different limbs where you want them. It is a multilevel undo, if you use them right. They are not meant to be permanent. ALT click to erase. They do not overwrite by just a straight click. The active ones are lit.

Hi. Ockham and Jaager are right, but if you need any further information about the dots, my latest tutorial tries to explain it. :) Hope it can be of some help too. SnowSmy DeviantArt page: http://snowsultan.deviantart.com/
I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

I'd like to create 4 different poses for a character and be able to recall them whenever I want. Is this what Memory Dots are for? If not, what can I do to "save" these four poses? Thanks!
