You can use the "Wind" effect in Scene settings and select/adjust the scene environment to your heart's content. Not the same, I know, but more truthful to your scene. Maybe there's a way to place the maps in a reflective channel if you have no scene to reflect; Mark? KPT 5's Shapeshifter also uses environment maps, and I'm in the process of trying some those in my shaders to see what comes up. I'm also very interested in the answer to your question
Since I posted this, I played around some more and found that by going in to the 'scene' properties and setting 'Background' to MAP and using the environment map I wanted for the map, it seems to work the same way as ID4 did. I will also play around with the wind effect to see what it can do. Thanks, Vern

Hi all, Question for any x-Infini-D people. In ID4 when working with chrome/silver/mirror, you could add an environment map to the scene and all of the reflective objects would reflect the map. How is this effect created in Cararra? Chrome objects just don't look right without the chrome environment map. Thanks, Vern
