Hi, Can anybody recommend a good quality render setting that suites a metal object i have. Also i seem to remember there was a 'half-circle' lighting method that softened out renders and made them look more like a 3dmax render. one last thing, Whats the best way of making a glossy, slightly reflective surface kinda like www.whoswe.com ? thanks.

Do you mean simulated GI? Check this link: http://www.bryceanworlds.com/pages/simulated_radiosity.html It's been updated so everyone who hasn't checked it out after 3rd of april should have a look to see if there's some new stuff in there.
