They must be talking about the signature. OH MY GOD. That's amazing.

I can't even get my mouse to write well. Therre must be some adjustments to sensitivity that you can make for that type of work as well, but even with that it does show an extreme amount of talent and artistry.

Claymor ( ) posted Sun, 20 April 2003 at 11:21 PM

It would take years to train a mouse to be able to draw like that wouldn't it? Not to mention the cost in cheese....

Impressive, now watch somebody accuse you of airbrushing something after all that work... lol So how long did it take to make that. Must have been a good while. How many layers involved? I've done all mouse artwork, but 90% of the time it's cartoony stuff. Usually something that the rendered style just doesn't seem to work with. I probably lack the patience to do somethink like your picture though.

Don't ask me, it ain't mine! ;) Wish it was. I'm not half that good with a mouse! Even with a tablet I couldn't do that, it's supernatural.

Claymor ( ) posted Mon, 21 April 2003 at 11:21 AM

A supernatural mouse? whoooaaaa....sounds like a monthly challenge topic. lol

Claymor, Don't blame me if you are visited by three optically impared spirit mice with really short tails next Christmas who confuse you for some guy named Ebenezor(sp). ... in the meantime, I still think it has something to do with desensitizing the mouse enough that the drawing doesn't look jerky, or they may have used a graphics tablet . . . Not that I'd ever be able to do that well even with a LARGE graphics tablet, let alone an optical mouse, but it would be nice to know how it was done. - TJ

Amazing picture, even without a mouse it would be hard to do something like that. Took a graphics tablet once, had to break it up to dry choke it. Those wires really tickle on the way down.
