Subject: Creating a Ranger-esque helmet mesh for P4

Hi! I'm new here, and basically new all over, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to create a face mesh that looks like the helmet of a Power Ranger using Poser 4. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Chico

heya; um... basically i dont think you can do it using poser 4. most people, concerned with their sanity, would use a modelling app to do this. though i dunno, maybe if you put a sphere over the head and deform it into an egg shape with magnets, that'd be a start....

Thanks for the idea. I'm thinking it can be done using RDS, but I'm not totally sure. But this is definitely a start. Chico

You could make a decent "fake" with the Zygote motorcycle helmet and bump and texture maps, or even using bump and textures on a deformed sphere, but I'd recommend modelling something in RDS or another 3D program for "best" results.

Oh, I should have mentioned that the Zygote helmet I have was from the "Stuff for Poser 3" CD; I know they've re-named it and re-formatted the stuff for P4, but I don't remember the current name for the set...
