WOW, put it up, put it up! Wonderful! I just finished hand doing the donkey morph on P4 and it still looked too horsey to me so had to create a stubborn donkey sitting down to do my animation and clarify it was a donkey. Off to DAZ (they might as well just send me everything) as donkey was part of a project so can write purchase off! yeah!
smiles I'll finish it up then today so it'll be posted on my site either tonight or tomorrow by the latest :) HaiGan, that would be lovely :) When I was about 4/5 I fell in love with a little donkey at Scarborough beach, my mum says that I cried my eyes out when we had to go home at the end of the holiday as I thought that by paying for rides I'd bought her lol. Your welcome :) I just goggled for "Muybridge +donkey" and came up with these : http://photo.ucr.edu/photographers/muybridge/index665.html - trotting with a child on his back http://cbis.net/LapDemo/GetPage.asp?pg=9 - a buck If you can get hold of some of his books they are an excellent resource for animators. AllaTry a web search for Muybridge (he's the guy who did the photographic sequences of animals moving). I know he did one of a mule bucking and kicking, not sure about a donkey. Donkeys move pretty much the same way as horses, just a bit short-stepping and up-and-down-ish because of the upright shoulders, hooves and pasterns. Some of them look really quite dainty when they walk (ack, now I've got a mental image of a donkey in a pink tutu, sometimes I hate my overactive imagination!).
NO!!! NO!!!
Can't you see what's going to happen?
Within days we'll be inundated with image after image of 'Vicky showing her ass'.
Pleeease! Have Mercy! :o).
Seriously, it looks like an excellent conversion. I'm always interested in good animal figures and textures. Don't have the zebra yet but its on my list.

ROFLMDonkeyO Yes, yes....gotta have that donkey! :) Don't feel bad, cruzan...I had a friend over for coffee a while back and placed the little Melitta filter holders carefully, put filters into them, measured freshly roasted and ground organic coffe inside, poured boiling water over them, only to discover I'd totally spaced on putting two cups beneath them at the start.......................! Know what you mean by the term "mess" ;)

lOL Replicant, I almost titled my first post "A little ass anyone?" Anyway, all is finished and uploaded to my site, I'm the only tester so please let me know if doesn't load right. There is the black texture seen above and a chocolate variant as well as the trans map. The MAT poses are in the camera library as my pose lirary is overflowing, you can move it to the pose library easily enough just by changing the file extentions to .pz2. Hope they are of use AllaPlease do not mix donkeys with mules! :-) (you see i love donkeys) :-) Donkeys are a very noble pure race of animals, sweet, friendly, and very trusty. If you are patient enough to wait for them to overcome their initial diffidence, they will never betray you! Some people with experience of both donkeys and horses say that they are more intelligent than horses. For sure donkeys are very clean animals, and very easy to keep, and they are so sweet that they are actually used in therapies to cure children with psychological problems. In many poor countries of the world, they are truly lifesavers for many people. They can work hard for weeks requiring only very little food and water.

I just bought the Daz Zebra as it is now in the loft and a real bargain for PC members;) I've been wanting to male a realistic donkey for a long time, the small cuddly sea-side donkey type, so had a quick go with a couple of photos I had. What do you think about it so far? The photo's were a bit small so the body is a bit blurry, the trans maps were a pain as the zebra uvs don't have seperate material set for them and they are mapped attached to the body, but I'm reasonably happy with them now. If enough people are interested I'll post it to my site as a future freebie. There's a couple of more renders of it on my site at the attached link. Allawww.ladyfyre-graphics.com
