From my back deck last weekend, looking through the trees (which now have a fresh batch of leaves) I noticed that the hill just beyond my property had somehow turned red. So yesterday, I went out to investigate, and this is what I found.

Looking back towards my place, you can see at just about the center of the picture a light brown spot. Thats all you can see of my deck from here. Had a bunch more, but this ought to cover it. Couldnt find any sound shots, though. :~( Hope you liked.

By Heck! When you have red Clover, they sure are RED!!! All are good but the third one does it for me.

Wow, that must be a beautiful place to walk through.

Great shots, love the Crimson Clover. I think the first one is great. The depth in #3 is pretty cool also.

Pretty as ... well ... A PICTURE ! ! ! I'm surprised the bees don't flock to this place? Nice.

'round here this time of year they are often in fields and by roadsides. But, they are always red, so what other colors do they come in? Must be a regional thing. BTW, no color adjustment here, just a little contrast. doca - Lots of bees around here this spring, as I noted in an earlier forum post, but not one single bee here when I was there yesterday. Must not be the right kind of flower.

Our red clover are pink and we also have white. But both are shorter in the flower. They're not out yet.
