I really like the Daz Fantasy Dress, but there isn't anything like it for Mike. I tried morphig it to fit him, but that was a lesson in futility. So I took Thip's free jacket, added a skirt, and started work. This is a very early start on it, but I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in something like this for Mike. If anyone knows how to remap this so it'd take the V3 Fantasy dress textures, I'd be eternally in your debt. Side note: Stud Mike Fetish pack 2 should be uploaded to freestuff this weekend, and packs 3 and 4 made available to beta testers.

Looks kewl. I'm kind of handy with UVMapper Pro but dont have a clue what the template for the Daz Fantasy Dress looks like. I was just thinking this morning how a nice robe would be an excellent outfit start for one of my M2 Aliens. Thanks, Dave

Is there a template to download at Daz? From some textures I got for the dress-- it looks like the skirt just unwraps a bit like a shawl. I havent' uploaded my Daz stuff yet. Emily

Reworked it some more. I'm not sure about the shoulders. There's a couple of points sticking up. Actually, this one is pretty easy. Very straightforward. All P5 type textures, with the top a using a free texture (tiled) from the web someplace. I made the wand as a quick experiment. Dave, when I get the mesh and character done, I'll let you know. If you can get the material mapping on the object so that the V3 fantasy dress textures will work, that'd be great. I've only got the UV Mapper free version, and know just enough to do simple stuff. Thanks folks! My other half is leaving for a fun filled week in Palm Springs, and I get to stay home alone, so I'll have even more time to work on this and the fetish stuff. Either that or I'll get into REAL trouble (grin).

...and now transmaps, textures and packaging. I want to go quick with this one. If Dave get's the remap of it so that it'll take the V3 Fantasy Dress textures, I'll release a version 1.5. I'll have it ready for beta tomorrow. And if we can get this puppy tested fast, in the freestuff queue by Sunday night. Fetishwear 2 will be ready for freestuff at the same time (unless I REALLY have a hangover on Sunday). Here's a simple priest texture, and once using P5 materials and a simple transmap. I'll include both of them in the package. Comments?

Had a small problem with the mesh. Actually, a big one. There was a very bad faux paux under the left collar I didn't catch. It'd pose fine so long as you didn't raise the arm above 30 degrees. Not good enough. I didn't find it until I'd already packaged the d*mn thing. Spent today reworking the mesh and making the .cr2 file. I've finally got all the mapping done. I'll be packaging it in the morning. Whew. I'm tired.

Been there done that. You think you've got it near perfect and then you discover a flaw. At first you say, nah not a big deal. Then the more you think about it, the more you notice the flaw. Can get very frustrating. Dave

PDX - I think it was an ILM modeler who once said : "A model is never really finished - you just move on." ;o) It's a very good robe you've come up with, and robes for Mike are on most of the wishlists that I've seen.
