ok i did a search for the phenixamerican font and you have to pay 22 bucks for it... haha ya that's going to happen, but this site has a nice little "test drive" option http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/agfa/phenix-american/phenix-american/testdrive.html anyhow, i searched my own comp and found the font "Protege" to be the same font. i have no idea where i got this font but it's a good substitute to the one they say you need. all in all the "Y" in the logo seems to have been costumized or something cause it doesn't match iether of these fonts. well i've ramble on long enough and this probably won't even help anyone so good day to all.

gotta love the fact that they want us to redesign their identity... but they don't want us to choose a suitable font for said identity. Infidels... VERDANA FOR LIFE

the "Y" is Anastasia.... i figured it out. and ya i want to know why they got to change the font last year but we can't this year... what up with that?

probably some strange 360 degree branding idea, keep the main font the same for identity purposes... makes no sense when redesigning one's identity though.

well i'm going to try something here. i'm going to upload the font in the file attach line, it's only 7k. this is simply the rosity logo vector style, saved as a font for those programs that can't open the files provided by our dear site.:) save to your font's folder, it should show up in any text program, the 'Key' letter is "R" the others will work but will be smaller. don't ask why, i have no idea. ok i had to change it to a .txt file in order to upload it, change it back to a .ttf file when you d/l it should work http://www.renderosity.com/uploads/renderositylogo.txt

Actually, to save you guys the trouble, there is a link available at the contest area for the .TIF, .EPS and .AI versions of the logo set that you can import in most 2d programs and some 3d progs. :-) (*

hey, isn't offering a font which costs money in 4 different formats, well, illegal? I'm not sure the creator of phenix american would be pleased... maybe I'll try to find him and let him know actually, I got nothing better to do...

In trying to incorporate the community theme with photography somehow...I've come up with this VERY rough draft...should I trash it? If not, what do you think should be done from this point? Hey maybe we should all pitch in and do an entry & then split the moolah, and make a dollar each...hum that's probably illegal, huh?

Got word from administration that they are looking to set up a .sit file for mac-ers. Will let you know when I hear about that.... Not sure about any legal stuff with this font.... but I'm sure someone will make sure they hear about it.. :~)

ah ya just to you no, there should be not legal stuff with this font, i made it myself. the only letter is the rosity logo. no matter what key you use it will give you the same thing. i did this because not all programs open .ai and .eps files as curves. fonts are always curves. i made this to try and help out, it's not some kind of a scam. i have psp for my 2d stuff and it doesn't open eps as curves, there just little jaggy bitmaps. maybe this will help.
