Gee...what I don't understand is why Anton had to start an entirely seperate post pointing out that he is being attacked by Khrys instead of continuing the discussion in the original post...unless he wanted the entire membership to know he was being attacked (actually it was a criticism not really an attack). IMHO Anton is being a bit overly "sensitive" and over-reacting.

It's bad enough you had to make sure enough people got stirred up to come to your 'aid' and/or kiss your ass, by making sure everyone knew about this, but I don't see how mischaracterizing Khrys' comments and twisting them into something worse than they were helps at all.

Personally, I'm sick enough of "prima-donna's" and their little tantrums and threats to leave or stop sharing everytime someone says a critical word at them.

Anton, you do good work...you certainly put out a quality product as far as I can see, but IMHO your Ego needs more far morestroking than it's worth! GROW UP!

Anton, here's an alligator for you...his name is Irwin! I would say that the majority of us that use these products are not using them in a professional capacity, so if the "politically correct" version of something is what you need, then you need to have it made specifically for your needs. Not saying that the DAZ stuff isn't, but many of the items that DAZ produces lend themselves more to a hobbyist. That being said, for the most part (99.99%) of the time, the quality of the items coming from this vendor are top notch quality. What I see is some wish to have a mesh completely there without having to modify it in any way. Some don't have the skill to be able to take an item from this package and combine it with another. Part of the fun of this "paperdoll" world we've immeshed ourselves in is to find those unique bits and pieces and put them together into something that is unique. As users of Poser become more skilled they learn the different techniques of how to do this, how to texture, how to model...it's a growth experience. Because we are so cross-cultural here, views of what is right for one person, may be totally incorrect for the rest of us. We have to realize that Renderosity is an international entity, and given that respect these cultural differences. Key word - respect! I personally would rather someone address a difference in opinion about a product directly with a vendor or through the moderators, rather than making any remarks in the forums that may be construed as personal attacks, although it does make for interesting reading .

Anton, you've being doing this enough years to have developed a thicker skin than that. try flying my inbox for a few days, then you'll see some crap. Here's an excerpt from todays loudmouth "..your site is ******* **** its the biggest load of **** **** ive ever seen you ****. why do you even ******* bother ****" ....I generally get at least one e-mail in that vein every day. But out of 40-50 thousand visitors to the site each month that aint bad. Then theres those that dont get 3d, and e-mail asking if i can ship them furniture theyve seen in the free 3ds section. PC, PC, PC... Just what is it? I mean what is PC to one is and insult to another..? Ok, I grew up in LA and have friends of many races, religions, and backgrounds. A couple families I have known since a child call themselves 'Gypsies' and appear quite proud of it. I have many black friends, some prefer to be called 'black', while others consider that an insult; I have Mexican friends, some want to be called 'Mexican', others 'Mexican-American', and still others say only 'Hispanic' is proper.....Where does it all end and Hey: What Do I Call Myself?????? (me= German, Irish, English, American Indian, Norwegian) What the heck, if I offended anyone then just call me 'Mongrel" (also acceptable: whitie, honky, white-boy, or hippy. But not Red-Neck, I am a rock-roller and that would be an insult)... Anton, your stuff is great. You can't please everyone so just please yourself, but please don't stop (I ditto what Snowsultan and Steveshanks say) Now, who wants to 'punch my lights out'??

PR-- Congratulations! You have been the "n" word for the day. You are correct; regardless of what you do or say, you have been attacked and called demeaning names and had your character defamed. Whatever you say has been misread. Whatever you do is belittled. Congratulations again! Your reaction has been typical of your new "n" word affliation. You have progressed from reasoned counterargument, to a cry for emotional understanding, finally to outright anger and defiance of all who attack you or belittle your unjust characterization and treatment. You understand how even seemingly benign statement hurt when thrown at you over and over. Now multiply that mistreatment by several centuries and several million people and you would understand why no one ever wants to be the"n" word. Khrys just admitted in IM to being angry that I posted a product link to Gypsies and Genies in a post here at Renderosity. Said he/she found it annoying and got mad. Sad that all this is really jsut about something that simple. Typical "how dare Anton be here" thing. You know I am a member too. For along time now. I do answer questions. I do give back. Some choose to think I am just leeching and that sucks. ARGGGGGGGG

Well, I think it's sad that Anton not only over-reacted and blew this way out of proportion...but mistated what was said in such a way that made it worse than what it was. By twisting Khrys' words, instead of quoting Khrys directly, he makes it appear that Khrys launched a direct, personal attack on him, which is not what happened at all.

What's even sadder is that Anton titled this thread to draw the most attention to it, even though his accusation of Khrys attacking him is false.

The only thing worse would be that Anton will get away with what should be construed as a TOS Violation against Khrys! His starting this thread should be considered a personal attack and appropriate action should be taken to deal with this!

Thanks to Anton's inability to act maturely...this is one Renderosity Member that can and will do without any of Anton's products...and will not recommend them to anyone!

Having just gotten down to that other thread and finding out how it went, this one isn't going the same way. Kev.
