Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 4:48 pm)
go to flashkit.com for more information... ive heard theres an app that decompiles an .swf file... ive never seen/used it before... but thats bad news for your intelectual property (as code) really and can be a security risk. if its a consideration, fill you code with alot of useless data to throw anyone who might be trying to copy it. if you need to store valuable security data in a flash file, make a database call instead then you dont have to worry about the security level and you can let the system administrator deal with the security issue on his/her end. i tried exporting a flash file from poser5 once, it looked awful and i didnt spend any time trying to tweak it, i just wanted to see how it worked it.
"well, you could just export from poser as a photoshop or whatever. Make it a quicktime movie, or series of images. Then just add them to flash. Then just add the sound in flash. It really isnt hard." tried that but the result was over 1meg of size -slightly too big to be placed in net. i exported the same as straight flash, it was 400kb but it wasnt that glamorous looking. tuning lights appears to essential in flash animation. i tweaked lights as 360degrees flat with couple of spots and voila! there he was jumping from roof to another. i making a quick animation to my homepage with this style. i post the adress for the jury to judge when i get it uploaded
Do you have flash? If so then you can just add the sounds there...as for a button click to zoom in you will definatly need to use flash for that. As using html or similer will just not cut it. The decompiler is called "soThink SWF Decompiler" but it is not an editor, it is jsut a boosted viewer. If you need help in any of this IM me.

so they told me to make a animation withman jumping from a rooftop to another. "we want it on our website as flash too, can you do it?" "no probs", i replied.
"and when someone presses link, we want the camera to zoom into the man's face. and we want some nifty sounds also". I think they'd just seen Spiderman or Matrix..
so has anyone exported a flash animation from poser and then added sound to the shoot?
is it humanly possible? i think i read somewhere about someone's attempts to hack a flash animation open just to add some frames in it. i think he failed miserably
plan B includes adding the sound and animation as an action to the weblink, but i think they might easily go out of sync when someone actually visited their site and pressed a link with 166Mhz PentiumII...
