After getting the info from Siegbert (thanx Siegbert :-). I d/l'ed the canoe & paddle .lwo files, converted them to .obj ran them thru UV Mapper (thanx Steve Cox :-) & made a "birchbark" tex map. Then I contacted the original model maker & got his permission to make them available to the Poser community at large, (Thanx Marvin :-). Now I have neither the time nor the the inclination to set up a site to host the files so if someone would like to feel free to contact me. If not, whomever is interested in the files, (2 obj, 2 tex, 1 template, 1.4 megs zipped down to 250KB), just drop me a note & we can do it via email.

... and thank you cooler, et al. Hopefully someone will offer to host soon, or perhaps you might place it at Props Guild as they host the files. (don't they?) I'd offer but I'm still on GeoCities, and everyone would hate it if we put it there.

That is magnificent. I am sure someone here would host that package for you. This sure is one of the finest 3D_Art communities (if not the best) on the net. Siegbert

Velvet Rose, I would think you could get rid of the seats with a trans map, (color the seats black & everything else white). That way you wouldn't have to fool around with the .obj file itself (I'll try it myself later tonight, now you've got me curious :-). As to alternative textures, that's why I included a template with the zipfile.
