As you may or may not know, steve now has his own uv mapper forum (link above). He set up the forum for uv mapper pro and classic (the free one), and has been taking suggestions from the users for the next update of uvm pro. At this point, he's already implemented 3 suggestions I made directly, plus quite a few others in threads I was following from other users, and a host of new features he was working on. All this for a FREE update, mark you. So, a public thanks to steve. Not only does he make uvm classic available for free, but if you spend the $49 on the pro version.... you certainly get your money's worth! If only all software developers listened to the users... It's people like steve, who make using poser a pleasure. And if you want to know anything about mapping, go there and ask the guy who wrote the program. mac

As great as it looks, I don't know how to make models but I would like to edit one every once in awhile, but $50 is a little high for something I wouldn't use but rarely....maybe when my ship comes in...hehehe

I've been using the free version for all the Mike clothing I've been doing. Then today I finally sprang for Pro. It's worth every blessed penny. The free version was great, but Pro is bloody wonderful. Steve rocks!

I use UVMapper Pro pretty much every day. Can't say enough about it. I can't immagine what it would be like without it now. Steve's new site is excellent, so much to learn/do with UVMapper.

Gotta agree. It's gotten to the point where I even refuse to use the UVMpping in 3DS Max because UVMapper is so much more powerful.

I've had pro since it came out. Never been able to use it due to lack of instructions. In all honesty, I wouldn't recomend it.

instructions? read the helpfile ... that's what its for. Besides its a UVmapper ..not that complicated. And you can always ask Steve. I have Pro and use it every day just about ..the live texture preview makes me happy :) time to scurry off and get the update ..thanks for the info maclean
