Anyone know where I can find a chess set model? Preferable with moveable pieces.

I donated a set of chess/backgammon/chinese checkerboard(s) to Renderosity for inclusion into the "company" store, You may want to contact DTHUREGRIF & find out when they will be available

I know you can find a couple of chess sets at 3D Cafe if you need them before cooler's are available. They're not as nice tho, imo. Kate

I believe that RayDream Studio has a chess set in its clip art.

Hello Arcady, I have made a chess set. It's actually in .vob format (for Vue), each piece is a different object, so you can move it where you want. Just meshes, no textures yet. If you are interested drop me a mail at jrlivenais@netinfo.fr and I will send you the details and size of the files (perhaps you don' t need all the pieces). A different format (obj or 3ds) is possible but i will have to search ancient CD backups. J-R
