Really it HAS to be in JPG. MICHELLE!!!! I think you are avoiding the question. I always thought the reason for the jpg format was because it makes the photo smaller. However....OH well. What if it is a moving BMP? Some one gotta make one of those some day! Good try Pho. Personally I think this is megga cool. BTW. If one looks closely one can see this tiny white hair on the left side of the speakers vibrating to the sound!!! I love it!!! Bsteph Bsteph

Yes it is cool..... but it's in the guidelines that it should be jpeg format. The guidelines are virtually the same as they were when Alpha wrote them, with a couple of minor changes they are word for word as they've always been. Avoiding the question....? No, stating one of the guidelines.... Please, bsteph are you trying to give me a headache?

i know i know i know, i didnt think it would really work, just had to do this for bsteph. and btw, that 'tiny white hair' is a mistake - forgot to erase that part...

incidently, you make this animate in jpeg files probably with some dynamic html or java script, or the ever useful Flash... it would still be a jpeg, just a series of jpegs... c'mon, its fun to skirt the rules.

It's fun to skirt the rules, fict, but where's the challenge in that? I think this is a wikked kewl image. However, it defeats the purpose of the challenge in representing something intangible in a still photograph. IMHO, anyway. (*
