I'm not sure if I should be apologising for voting this month, but as far as I can see, one entry stands head and shoulders above the rest. Jstro, your story is so cliched it's good :-) I guess that's why they become cliches. Shanna :-) ps Crescent. I'm still trying to reach that level of writing, just coming up the ladder instead of down! Ewwwwww. lol ;-)
Yikes! I best go reread the entries and get off my duff. jon

The hour of doom drew neigh, and still I agonized over the decision I needs make. So much was at stake; lives, nay the future of the world even, rested in the balance. To choose wrongly now could have reverberations that could last for generations to come. But when the going gets tough, the tough get going, and so I made my choice, hard as it was. At long last I voted, for Crescent, nearly belatedly. jon

Sorry to be running late. More layoffs at work (I was tempted to ask to be laid off because the company has gone so downhill) and I'm sick. Well, I guess I'm honored to be voted "Worst of the pack." ;-) I'll get the new challenge up shortly. Thanks to everyone who jumped in, cast pride aside, and got "down and dirty."
