Okay here we go, first of all let me say you all did a wonderful job, but obviously there can only be so many winners and of course we think you all are, but the judges looked at the pictures and the chosen ones are as follows: First Place - genny Second Place - sandoppe 2 winners for Third Place - Sambucus & wabe Again thank you so much for putting in such a great effort from you all, I wish I could give you all a prize because I know what it is like to work so hard on a piece and then not to win sometimes is disheartening. But those of you who did not win, you really did, cause you showed us all what great talent you all have. Thank you again for participating and congratulations to all the winners. Mike and Sharen

Suede ( ) posted Sun, 04 May 2003 at 6:32 PM

Hahaha catlin - that is too funny :)

Just wanted to say that this was a really fun contest to follow - just the thought of all you folks making stuff for this at the same time from all around the world, and then seeing all of these great pictures, just brightened up my day. I'll try to see if I can get into the next contest, as Im learning some stuff now with poser and though I dont think I'll be as masterful as most of you folks [yet! hehe] it looks to be a fun and inspirational way to learn :)

thanks Sharon and Mike, I'll keep my eye out for the next one!

sandoppe ( ) posted Sun, 04 May 2003 at 6:33 PM

It was one of my personal favorites as well Gally. Excellent composition, camera positioning and texturing. The spider web was exquisite!

Hey 'Dots.
Been fighting white worms and crab grass;
solving crimes under the guise of Charlie Chan with a dog, a ferret and a cockerel (poor ferret. Poor cockerel);
showing my noodle to Vegas showgirls (don't ask);
watching the war to see who survives and gets off the darn island;
Oh! and I've been working real hard too. But that could have been a dream.

Sharing my time now between this site and its affiliate: Rendez-Vous 3D. I should be around more, shortly.
Hope you are well. :)

Congratulations to all. These were great pictures.

I just came on line to send my picture in thinking the contest closed on the 5th - forgot that Americans put the month before the day! All my own fault, Sharon, you had put Sunday but was too busy to return to the messages and the 5th was firmly in my mind.

If you have another contest I'll be more careful. It would have been my first entry in a Poser contest.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Mon, 05 May 2003 at 10:30 AM

Oh what a shame, well don't feel bad we do plan on running another one. We will alert you all. Sharen
