Like you said, Poser 5 Dyanamic Hair cannot be exported. Taking any Poser figure into Bryce has always been one of the keystones of frustration. Using a midlle-man program called "Grouper" will help those maps that you use on Poser figure, transport into Bryce more readily. AgentSmith

Squeeka, most of the times I go for baldies :) But, if you want, there are some very good free tuts out there (in the tut section) that you can use to paint hair in postwork with very good results (after a bit of the usual practice). Looks for Crasher's tut about using PS or PSP, or for linwhite's tut about using EyeCandy Fur filter. I never tried to make hair directly in Bryce. Frankly, I would'nt know where to begin... :) S.
grins They look kinda strange bald but what the heck :) I'll give it a try :) Actually, you would think with the 5 or 6 3D programs I have on this computer, I'd be able to come up with something that looks semi life-like. I'll have a shot at the postwork too and maybe if I get some more free time(not enough atm ) in the next week or so, I'll post something(not guaranteeing what'll she'll look like:P) Jen :)
Take a look at www.bantam3d.com for a program called hair. It takes a fairly powerful computer to handle but you can get dynamic hair out of it and it's $15 USD. Otherwise there are tutorials for getting transmaps onto the hair and so forth. Do a search on the forum for Bantam hair and you'll see an example.

you can export poser 5 hair: http://www.fignations.com/jelisa/tutorials/p5hair3.html you will need a good transmap to make it look good though.Attached Link: http://digitalbabes2.com/
If you get some of Kozaburo's wonderful P4 hair meshes/texture/transmaps, they apply very well to bryce import. (see attached link) This is what all of my figures use in my images.Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
Yes, if you have Poser and Bryce, you owe it to yourself to check out digital babes.com and free download your a$$ off. I did a long time ago. (Hmm, better go back, there may be some new things I want).
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

I've read the tutorials, I've tried putting the object in a box, I've tried saving the hair as a seperate object.... all to no avail. Either my characters import into Bryce with no hair or if I export the poser 4 hair, it looks plastic :( Dynamic hair won't export at all :( Any help would be appreciated as I'd rather render in Bryce than Poser.
