I am fairly new to bryce. I would like any advice or pointers to make this scene look better. Thanks TRIP

The model looks really good. The problem I see is with the background scene. The grass mat is too shiny and has no visible bump, so it's a bit unrealistic. Then, it seems that you have a different ambient color for the trees: in the most visible one it's almost black, and in the background one (the one behind the model) is somewhat greyish (to set the same color, Ctrl-click on the ambient color picker of the mat and you'll be able to insert precise RGB values). Then again, the farthest tree has to be "lowered" into the ground to avoid the roots showing (this is a Bryce problem, the roots are very un-realistic). This is what I noticed. A sidenote: the model seems more apt to move itself on sand/rocks, so maybe you can try another kind of ground mat. A desert-ish one could also match better the beautiful mimetic texture you used on the model. Just my 2 eurocents. :) Stefano

thanks the texture is Hardwood camo from the realtree camo company. I noticed the colors seemed to be off but wasnt sure if it was just me or not.

I agree with what DC said, but I'd like to add one other thing; The model seems to be faceted, maybe it needs a little smooth? I like the mechs mat.

i agree wit hboth grass is not natural, and try also to put a yellow radial light abovein front of the mecha to ive more light to the scene

Overall, it looks pretty good. The only thing that seems a littl "off" to me is that I would envision that machine rumbling through a rough, desert-like country rather than the lush, pretty scene in which you've placed it.

I agree with eeverything Doublecrash suggested.

Looks cool. Might want to make the missiles white or another color other than the camo color.
