Subject: A panorama

My Canon printer came with a PhotoStitch program that looks like it does a pretty good job. This shot is a series of 4 taken from one spot looking down the river. I then cleaned it up some in PSP7 and cropped it. You can still see some lines where the stitch took place but for general web use, it looks pretty good to me. What do you folks think? I plan to go back on the other side of the river to get a better direct angle and do another series. What's the best software and techniques to do panoramas?

I had to look hard for the stitching. Good shots! Personally I tend to do all my stitching by hand in PS so I can't really address your question. Magick Michael

Kewl stuff. I can make out one stitch straight up from the trees there, but the others are damn good. I would have guessed at 3 photos if you hadn't said, certainly a fine job. (",)

and the last one on the far right. Yeah, not bad for free software. Notice the sky color was off and the thing that amazed me the most was that the shots are taken in a sweep with each being at a greater distance than the previous.
