Maybe I have been looking at this for too long, but I think there is something missing or that I should change. However, I'm not sure what it is. Any suggestions?

maybe some kind of activity in the large cylinder to give the feeling of movment from top to bottom.

"Reinstall Windows" is NOT a troubleshooting step.

Looks good. But the image needs placement. It needs a background.. Perhaps something metalic like Star Wars or dark and dank like a cave...

Maybe some electricity running through the cylinder with an intense purple?, Lol I think I need sleep I like it roch222

a red light from bottom

I say the same as Vasquez, a red light from the bottom. And i would like a more silverlike texture on the thingy

maybe some handles to open/close the cylinder. Or possible something to bolt it to a wall or floor. Looks good so far.

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

What was your purpose in doing this picture? What are you trying to show? Just asking questions.

TCSP ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 4:25 PM

i would like to see a figure standing over it getting their face sucked into the top. or their arm... like half in and demetirializing inside, through the glass... could be its reverse engineered alien technology turned into a state-of-the-art vaccuum... or transdimentional-mafigerator

TCSP - I like your imagination - sounds like you got your own idea going on - why dont you give your isea a go - I for one would like to see it done LOL Roch222

ok... now with the red light on the bottom. I like this idea of the super vaccum he he. Im low on time because of exams hence why it took me so long to add a red light... but will finish this... must finish this... must strive for... goodness. :) lol SeveneOfEleven: the purpose of this was to try to somehow in some smidgen of a way, mimic those uber-cool images that Rochr puts out every now and then which are just breath taking. he he. but besides that, it is something of a series I have sort of been doing which involve glowing glass tubey things which could be anything from cloning tanks to uber-vaccums. lol

oh yeah... and the picture to

shadowdragonlord ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 10:44 PM

Cool idea! It needs a top-cap, like a half-sphere (dome), or something. In my opinion. Then maybe render it with soft shadows? All I care about is the Shadows, these days..
