Hi I've recently noticed an error when working in Photoshop. Sure hope i can describe it. When using the brush tool and laying down some random strokes on the far right of the canvas the colors start to change.For instance on a bright orange color the color starts to change to a slight purple when on the right Side of the canvas.

Also when i move images to this side it also messes up the colors it turn this a slight hue of purple which i really hate.

Does any body know why this is happening? Has it ever happended to you i have included a picture to illustrate my problem.Sure hope someone in the Renderosity forum can help me out with this mess.

It must be your monitor. There is only one colour in your example.

You got a plasma or LCD, right? Take it in to the shop for repairs, it's your moniter.

I know if I have my speakers or telephone near my monitor it effects the color. This is because of magnetic interferance. Make sure you do not have anything around your monitor.

Yup, looks fine here. Monitor needs to be calibrated

I think it's more than calibration. Sorry to say, but I think his monitor is up the creek.

I've got a moniter like that, I havn't tried to fix it, though. If it's he same thing, then there's just discolouration in one corner or side.

um use the "eye drop"er tool and open the info pallet... it's the same colour... just like every one elce has said for some reason or an aother some interferance is is causinf the colour the appear diferent.. monitors are the worst method for colour Proofing... IMHO now if you have a waranty on the monitor, cash it in, or paint by numbers with the info on : D looks can be decieving. karo.
