I never used the netwoork rendering option, but if I remember correctly you start B5 on your server system and start bryce lightning on the client machines. Then you start the networkrender option on the server and enter the IP adresses of the clients in the list. I think there's an option to set the server to participate in the actual rendering process too. After that you'll probably have to click the check-button at the bottom of the window and it'll start rendering. If I've made any mistakes someone will probably notice and correct them.

Aye, Lightning is really easy, once you get the hang of it. Stills are weird, you have to render "zero" frames! But I almost never render on just one machine, anymore, except when I'm building a scene. Final images get done ina flash, and the "tile" renderer is a bit cooler than the "slow-moving-laser" renderer... Also, with as many computers as you are using, you have a chance to really dig into the animation aspects of Bryce, which is why 3D was invented in the first place!

Ok just how difficult is it to set up bryce 5 to do network rendering.. I have a home network and plan on expanding it just for bryce.(renders take way too long) I have 3 connected now and/or will have up to 8 pc's connected to it in the future..from athlon xp 2000 dn to a p2 350 and any where inbetween.
"Reinstall Windows" is NOT a troubleshooting step.
