hey folks. [**Nia**](http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=19212), my teen morph for the millenium girls, is up in the store now. theres an intoductory sale on her, shes only $16.99 for the first week - you get a hell of a lot of content for that: -a 3-piece lacy lingerie pack with MATs -a ton of mix & matchable handpainted makeup options -alternate body textures for completely different looks -a **complete**, custom body and head morph (these arent dial twists, its a remorph from the ground up) -some starter poses Nia was formerly at RuntimeDNA. *note to previous Nia buyers:* i will make all of the new content in the updated Nia pack available as a downloadable add-on free of charge. i will post a notice here and in the poser forums when its ready - please give me a day or two, since i have two funerals to attend to this weekend and i dont know if i can get enough time to do this today. cheers, -gabriel

As a purchaser of Nia over at RDNA, I love her. It's a terrific package, with your usual quality and attention to detail. And thanks for making the add-ons available to previous purchasers, Gabriel; that's a nice gesture. Sorry to hear about the funerals. :(

Is there still a plan for an additional clothing pack for Nia, and what would be in it?

FishNose ( ) posted Sat, 03 May 2003 at 5:34 PM

Yep, I was just going to ask the same question - about the other clothing :o) :] Fish

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sat, 03 May 2003 at 5:47 PM

hey there caleb and i are wrapping up her clothing pack right now actualy. dont want to spoil the suprise, but itll be bigger than originally planned and have dual functionality - both a sexy urban and sci-fi look. ive been held up by a few things, so its been delayed a bit - but you should see it in the testing queue by next weekend approximately. i promise you wont be disappointed. in the meantime theres a bunch of stuff in the nia pack to keep people occupied for the next week :) hmm.. im going to contact RDNA right now and see if i can get a buyers list for nia, then im going to upload that add-on pack and send out the links so that RDNA buyers can download the new content for free. ill post stats on that here in a bit. cheers, -gabriel

Gabriel, this is probably not a great time to bring this up when you have so much else going on, but I've been meaning to ask for a while; do you plan on ever re-releasing your Frazella character? I missed buying her the first time around and I've regretted it ever since.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sun, 04 May 2003 at 12:45 PM

sigh fauve... frazella? doubtful - just wasnt much of a market for a non-pinup, stylized and curvy frazetta-ish woman. she was my worst selling product, by far. everyones into the 90's ideal lately with anorexic women with slim boyish hips, 6-pack abs and fake plastic boobs. i can barely squeeze my ordinarily hippy, leggy, curvier women by with societies accepted ideal being so different (which is basically the body of a 10 yr old boy with giant boobs). i believe i read somewhere that in the 50s, the average model weighed over 25 lbs more than they do today. no offense, but id take bettie page over kate moss anyday :) women arent supposed to be hard, angular and bony. REAL women, or at least the ones i find attractive, are curvy, soft and have a set of hips. but ill talk to kiera today - what i was thinking is doing a simplified frazetta-ish texture for the character and releasing that, with 1-2 makeups, and the frazella body morph in the freestuff section... then some people can have fun with it for free. it'd have to wait until after i finish the nia clothing pack though, ive already delayed that far too much :( btw - thanks for the support in the Nia ripoff thread fauve (and everyone else), much apreciated. cheers, -gabriel

Yeah, I remember the grief some people gave you when you released Angelyne into Freestuff. "Why is she so out of proportion?" Which she isn't... she has very realistic proportions, since the character is a small woman who is a dancer, and so of course was morphed to have strong legs, muscular thighs and a champion booty. :) One of my very favorite Vicki bodies (it's set as the default for my female characters) is the Stone Maiden body morph you did for the Dark Corner statue pack. I love the soft, womanly hippiness you gave her, and her normally-proportioned and -shaped breasts. Most of us have bodies which look more like that than like Pin-Up Vicki.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Sun, 04 May 2003 at 1:47 PM

im actually not sure wether kiera or i did the stone maidens body. was a LONG time ago. either way, we had similar tastes with regards to the female form, thats probably why we had no disagreements when it came to how our characters should look. i really like how the nia morph turned out - i think the body is extremely sexy. and, unlike a lot of my previous more voluptuous morphs, nia is pretty thin - her ribcage even shows :) but, believe it or not - for that VERY same body image in the promo image above that i posted in my gallery, i had several comments saying that she was 'fat'. let me post a comment from my deviantart gallery: "...for the legs and stomach, I don't like so much, maybe too fat compared to top ? The whole impression is still very good" heh.. i realy dont see how nia's legs are 'fat'. probably my biggest pet-peeve with regards to modern women's physiques is skinny thighs. the default vicky body is a good example. but the worst is when the inner thigh is actually CONCAVE - ie: curves inwards, its so skinny. runway models usually look like that. my first thought when i see that is 'my god, they need to eat some big macs' :) speaking of big macs, im outta here -- i can already feel the cholesterol coursing through my veins, baby :)

Kiera ( ) posted Mon, 05 May 2003 at 9:49 AM

I did the Stone Maidens and Tuesday/Ophelia bodies.. Gabriel did all the other bodies for our other products, including Ki, one of our most popular characters. Gabe, I am away from home for a couple days, but drop me a note and we can work out something for Frazella. ;) Sorry to hear about the funerals.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Mon, 05 May 2003 at 10:26 AM

no worries about the funerals... although i do feel like im on an episode of six feet under or something :) my back is sore as hell from sitting on church pews, my brain is sore from listening to priests preaching about saving my soul, and dealing with this copyright infringement issue in the poser forum. cheerio, -gabriel

fauve ( ) posted Mon, 05 May 2003 at 2:31 PM

Kiera, my apologies for miscrediting your work and a big thank-you smooch to you. :) The Stone Maiden body was the first Vicki body I'd seen that I really liked, and it's still my favorite out of all of them. You are very talented! Now I have to go check out Tuesday and Ophelia....

RealitysPoison ( ) posted Mon, 05 May 2003 at 3:40 PM

Your worst selling product? Sheesh. That's a shame. She was a great pack. Can I say that next to your Angelyna freebie, Frazella was and still is one of my favorite purchases. Dunno, guess maybe I'M wiere. lol

Smaker1 ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 2:56 AM

I love Frazella!! (I also love ALL your products!!) :-)

Lunaseas ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 3:05 PM

is Nia here show with your "Black Eyes" or is that just the texture with a mat shader?

Blackhearted ( ) posted Tue, 06 May 2003 at 5:25 PM

nia's eye textures are for the millennium girls' default eye geometry. ive created prop files (int he blackeyes 2 pack) which will load the blackeyes for nia though. the promo images show her eyes with her eye texes - just a standard poser 4 render with no special materials or postwork. cheers, -gabriel

merknz ( ) posted Thu, 08 May 2003 at 6:17 PM

I've bought the Blackeyes (From Rosity) and Nia (from RDNA) those are an amazing combination ... allthough like others here I have missed the lack of clothes for Nia :-) What really disturbs me is the concept that any part of her is 'fat' .. some people have NO idea.

Blackhearted ( ) posted Thu, 08 May 2003 at 6:48 PM

:) patience, grasshopper. clothing pack will be out very soon. im just a perfectionist - i could have released it weeks ago but i keep adding to it. working with caleb now, so there will be even more and cooler content. and HE keeps adding to it too - lol. bad thing is its taking a bit longer becase of the new clothing meshes. good thing is, itll be a big fat clothing pack with lots of items. and yeah, nia is actually pretty skinny. some people really do have issues. i blame it all on the media, which literally shoves 5'11", 95 lb anorexic bimbos down our throats every day we watch tv or pick up a magazine or newspaper. i think the 'golden age' in the media, as far as women's 'ideal bodies' are considered, was the late 50's, early 60's - when women were still curvy and had nice sets of legs and hips. and that was before breast implants - ugh, another thing i cant stand: those 'jerry springer' boobs, size 40 FFF cups or whatever, lol. i see so many women on tv (and sadly, on the street) who would have been really attractive had they not crammed oversized sacs of silicone nastiness into their chests. cheers, -gabriel

RealitysPoison ( ) posted Thu, 08 May 2003 at 10:57 PM

"who would have been really attractive had they not crammed oversized sacs of silicone nastiness into their chests" lol. And as a woman, why anyone would want to do this is beyond me. lol But I guess if they want to live life with perenial back problems, more to them :) I have enough of those with my natural ones, thank you very much. Can't wait (O.K., I will try really hard...) for the clothing pack. Sounds like a winner.

merknz ( ) posted Fri, 09 May 2003 at 12:16 AM

Scary stuff huh? my girlfriend challanged me to make a normal picture with one of the wyrm family .. impossible really .. brings new meaning to the term magnets. Well this is turning into a good day, new Nia textures, Service Release 3 and someone who agrees with my concept of the female shape. PS. my support on the whole Nia vs Denelle thing, I just read it today ..

merknz ( ) posted Fri, 09 May 2003 at 12:17 AM

PS. Did I mention the want/need for a clothing pack? ;-)

Blackhearted ( ) posted Fri, 09 May 2003 at 12:28 AM

patience, grasshopper :) its coming.. just wrapping up textures and a few final touches.

merknz ( ) posted Fri, 09 May 2003 at 7:56 PM

But Sensei, patience is difficult (who even remembers that show?)
