My WIP about the uncontrolable force of insanity. The only problem is that I'm stuck. Out of inspiration. What do I need to add? any ideas?

honestly, to me, I think he looks more like he is dumfounded by a question, and just smiling cause he doesn't know what to say, then insain.. but.. i haven't a clue how to fix that.. or even how to really explain it.. so i guess i'm at my normal point, of no use to anyone...

by the way.. you sure do work quickly don't you.. sheesh. i haven't even thought of an idea yet and here you are throwing one out..

DB, some of us are just Closer to thier subject matter than others. LOL RR, I agree with with DB, Insanity usually has a touch of fear incorporated into the hilarity, Anger too. Open mouth maybe, stronger/darker brow w/deeper eyes, not sure. Expressions are tough.

The expression may not be quite right as the others have mentioned, but may I say those textures on the space surrounding his face are awesome? What a terrific start :)

Very striking. I'd suggest making the mouth more of a grimace than a smile - turn the corners down just a little and pull the upper lip back a little. You might also draw the brows together or make little frown lines... I don't know how to explain this very well, but I think more tension in the face would help. Insanity implies an internal battle, but I'm not sure how best to show that. Lin

It's tough to make an insane facial expression. I'll see what I can do. As for the fast working, I just had a little bit of inspiration and started playing with it. The disadvantage is that I don't know exactly how I added the 14 renders to get to this result. I hope I can reproduce the effects.
