Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 12 11:30 pm)
I haven't installed SR3 yet, but on very rare occasions I experience downloaded PNGs which don't show (often seem to be 24bit cols - not the usual 32bit) Best solution I've found is to use P3d0 Explorer to convert them all into RSRs, and then let Poser 5 reconvert them back to PNGs automatically when the folder is next opened.

slightly overclocked/water-cooled
Windows XP professional
It seems like P5 tampers with the PNG, at one point the icons would show, but they become blank squares with that oval in the center.
I open them in PSP7 and check for an alpha channel, but there isn't one.
It is always a PNG with the entire background filled.
I just give it some transparency and it works fine.
Sorry folks, I'm a little late, but poser is only a hobby for me. I'm runnig the english version of poser 5 on a 2200+ Athlon with 2GB RAM DDR with XP Pro, so I think it has nothing to do with the gui, what I first expected. I checked the library and realised that only some of the customized pngs were corrupted.(I've got a lot of them after playing around for 3 years now!) Seems to be that SR3 doesn't tolerate png's with a special size and without transparency! I tried that '3PO-thing' and it worked. Afterwards I have converted the files with only one pixel transparency and now here we are again: it works !(Also double sized pngs) Thank you folks !

I installed SR3 yesterday and notices that now all png thumbs in the library are shown up as empty circles? (No, not that shoulder shrugging guy!)
Has anyone got a solution or am I only a little bit dump?
Any hint appreciated !
