There's been some talk about how to make curtains so I thought I'd do a quick tutorial. The link is to an image of mine that uses curtains like these. It don't get much cheaper or easier than this. :^) Higher res terrains (at least 512) give better results. Hope this helps. Tjohn

Well, easy until it comes to the part where it says "paint." ;-) I'm sure it's easy for most, but I'm a quadriplegic who moves the mouse using a mouthstick and the Windows MouseKeys feature which controls the mouse pointer with the number pad. Only problem is this only give me eight directions to move the mouse. ;-)

Thanks, Tjohn! jason, you could also try and find a picture of real curtains and convert them to grayscale. That might help.

Jason, if you need something like this just ask if someone would send it to you, you'll find everyone is very helpful here...8)

That's right Jason. Don't be hesitant to ask. There are some really good helpful peeps in this forum. You have some nice work in your gallery by the way. 8-) Cheers and happy Brycin'

Thanks for the tut TJohn. Seems to work in your "Jam Session" image quite well. 8)

Thanks DreamWarrior for the advice on the curtains. And thanks to Zhann and Swade for the suggestion on getting help from others.

Thank you for the tutorial. I applied it a little differently in my latest upload of "In The Wind" in bryce gallery, but your example got me started. Thanks very much!!

Also, http://www.baument.com/ has some curtains to download. Go to archives and look at the bottom of the page. Lin
