Subject: Need Sci-Fi props

Replicant ( ) posted Sat, 10 May 2003 at 9:31 AM · edited Fri, 10 January 2025 at 4:33 PM

I'm looking for anything in the way of sci-fi/hi-tech props. I particularly need equipment belts, hand-held scanners, weapons or anything for my characters to do with their hands, but set props needed too. Already got Questor's guns and everything I could find in freestuff here, but I need more variety. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hmmm...I usually don't suggest marketplace items but Atom's Empire Scene Builder might be something worth looking into if your going to do a ton of scenes... Also highly suggest _Dodger's store and freestuff, high quality stuff... http://www.dodger.org/friv/ Another awesome place for scifi-ish stuff is of course, runtimedna.com

Joe Kurtz has excellent sci-fi gadgets, many of which are available for free: http://www.joes3dfantasyworlds.com/down/scifi01/scifi01.htm Plus, Baumgarten Enterprises is working on a "moon-base" theme in freebies ("Downloads" section) at the moment, with some very nice outer-space stuff. http://www.baument.com/

Thanks all. :o). Desdemmonna, I found the _Dodger link really useful. A couple of his blasters now feature in my latest pic. One of my earliest images used the Carpathia bridge set. I've got the lot and love it. I'll be using it a lot more with some of the uniforms I've been getting for my Mike and Vicky.
